

This pack has been written to meet the requirements of National 5 Administration and IT, and is also suitable for use with Higher Administration and IT learners.
On completion of this pack, learners will be able to: construct a main document (letter, ticket, invite, certificate and label template) in Microsoft Word, containing merge codes; perform a merge from Microsoft Access using Tables and Queries, or from Microsoft Excel; preview a merge; correct any errors identified in preview and print source merge fields and results. How-to instructions have been included, in addition to tasks to allow learners to practice their skills. A practice N5 Admin and IT assignment task has been included.
To successfully undertake the practice tasks covered in this pack, learners must have a sound understanding of queries in Microsoft Access and be able to create and run basic queries. Learners must also be competent in the use of Microsoft Word to create basic documents and tables.
NOTE: This pack is a re-write of Pack 15/301 to reflect the differences and new look of MS Office.
